The battle between planet earth and global warming again tilted in favor of the planet after Bukluran Student Alliance declares its unwawering support for this year’s Earth Hour.
Jessica Rapirap, a Central Committee member of the alliance, said, “We are one with the global community in combating climate change. Count us in the pursuit of a billion participants in this noble event.”
Rapirap furthered that the Earth Hour, which is set at 8:30pm-9:30pm of March 28, coincides with their Solidarity Night for the Leadership Training Seminar of Bukluran this year. The said LTS will be held in Tanza, Cavite.
“Eventhough Tanza is not one of the participant cities in the Philippines, rest assured that one of the beach resorts there will be dark for the sake of our planet,” Rapirap added.
Details of the Earth Hour can also be viewed at http://www.earthhour.org/about/
